Head of Energy & Infrastructure at AIB (GB) - Matt Toolan
Matt Toolan has over 23 years of experience working in energy finance. His background in engineering provides an edge when it comes to understanding the science behind renewable energy technologies. He has played a key role in shaping AIB GB’s growth strategy for the energy sector. Matt is immensely proud of the significant difference AIB GB have made in terms of combating climate change, along with a recent career highlight in which his team financed one of the largest offshore wind transactions in the UK.
At home, Matt is an avid sports lover and front-row fan at his daughters’ netball games. He believes that the team’s commitment to delivering bespoke funding solutions is one of the many reasons why customers form lasting partnerships with AIB GB, built on trust, expertise and innovative ideas.
