Moving your Information (Right to Portability)

You have the right to request your personal data held by us in a digital and portable format. Your portability request will include all your personal data which has been:

  1. Processed automatically

  2. Processed with the customer’s consent

  3. Processed under the performance of a contract

  4. Provided by the customer (including observed usage of the account)

You can raise a Portability data request by:

  • Completing a Portability data request form on internet banking (Internet Banking Home Page > Services & Settings > Personal Data Request)

  • Phoning the contact centre on 0345 646 0027 (open Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30) and speaking with an Agent

Allied Irish Bank (GB) will contact you to let you know that your request has been completed which will include instructions for collection. If an invalid request is submitted, Allied Irish Bank (GB) will contact you to let you know along with instructions of what is required to resolve the issue.

The digital portability file can only be collected at an Allied Irish Bank (GB) business centre by you or a nominated third party. Prior to collecting the data in the business centre, you must present a valid form of ID and proof of address. Your file will be held in the Allied Irish Bank (GB) business centre for 28 days. If it is not collected during this time, the file will be securely destroyed.
