What is the AIB Business (iBB) app?
The AIB Business app makes it easier for you to manage your day-to-day business banking:
- View, export and share transactions
- Make and save payments
- Authorise one or multiple payments
- Log in easily to iBB on your computer, using the app instead of your Digipass

How do I get the AIB Business (iBB) app?
You can download the AIB Business (iBB) app from the App store or Google Play store. You’ll need your iBB User ID, Password and Digipass to register on the app.

How do I access the AIB Business (iBB) app if I get a new phone?
You’ll have to download the AIB Business app again to set up your new phone for Strong Customer Authentication (SCA); you’ll need your iBB User ID, Password and Digipass.

Do I need a Digipass to use my AIB Business (iBB) app?
The first time you log in on the app, you’ll need your Digipass to create a One Time Code. Once this is done, you won’t need your Digipass again to login or make a payment.

Do I need to set up special permissions or limits for AIB Business (iBB) app?
The app will work with your existing permissions and limits. There is no need for additional set up.

How do I log into iBB on my computer with the AIB Business (iBB) app?
Once you've registered on the app on your phone, you'll receive a notification to Confirm or Deny when you try to log into iBB on your computer. Once you 'Confirm' the notification, you'll be logged into iBB on your computer.

How do I log into iBB on my computer if I'm not receiving the notification?
If you're not receiving notifications, please make sure they are enabled for our app on your device. If you're not receiving the notifications, you'll be asked for a One Time Code. This OTC can be generated in the AIB Business (iBB) app by going to Settings > Generate One Time Code (OTC). The code presented on the app can be entered into iBB on your computer.

Why aren't I receiving notifications to log into the AIB Business (iBB) app?
If you're not receiving the notification to log into the app, double check that:
- You’re using the phone that you’ve installed the app on
- You have a strong signal or internet connection to receive notification messages
- Notifications for the iBB mobile app are turned on. Go to Settings > Notifications > iBB Mobile > Allow/Show Notifications

I've lost my phone, how can I unregister my User ID from my old phone?
If you lose your phone, you’ll need to contact your Local Administrator and they’ll be able to unregister your existing mobile phone. If you're the only Local Administrator, you can contact the iBB Support team and they'll be able to do it for you.

Can I log in to the AIB Business (iBB) app on my phone with another User ID?
If you want to log into the app with another User ID, your Local Administrator will need to unregister the app from your phone. Once they've unregistered the app from your phone, you can use another User ID to login on the same phone.

Is the AIB Business (iBB) app secure?
Yes, the AIB Business (iBB) app is a secure, safe and convenient way to manage your business banking on the go. The service provides the same high level of security as you enjoy with iBB on your computer.
To set up your device you need to register for the app. After this initial registration process, you’ll only need to enter your password at each subsequent log in. The app setup process securely pairs your iBB User ID to your mobile phone. We use the highest levels of industry standard security. As part of this security, we use 256-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect your information.
The app will automatically log you out after five minutes of inactivity. You must be actively browsing to stay connected (i.e. switching between accounts). You’ll need to log in again if you want to keep using the AIB Business app.

Do I need to register for the AIB Business (iBB) app?
You need to be an iBB (iBusiness Banking) user to register for the AIB Business (iBB) app.
- Search for ‘AIB Business’ on the App store or Google Play store on your mobile phone.
- Open the app and log in with your User ID, Password and a One Time Code (OTC) from your Digipass. Once you’re registered, you can log into the app with your password for every subsequent login.

What payment options are available on the AIB Business (iBB) app?
On the AIB Business (iBB) app you can:
- Transfer funds between your own accounts
- Transfer funds to other Irish and international accounts which have already been set up and saved on iBB online
- Make payments to your credit cards and other billers already set up on iBB online.

What do I need to access the AIB Business (iBB) app?
To access the app you need the following:
- Either an iPhone running on iOS 14 or above, or an Android phone running on version 11.0 or above
- The AIB Business (iBB) app downloaded from the App store or Google Play store
- Login details for iBB
- An internet (Wi-Fi) connection.
Customer connectivity to the AIB Business app, using the mobile phone signal, will depend on the telecom provider's mobile/Wi-Fi/broadband network speed. This may vary depending on:
- The number of customers accessing your mobile provider's network at any given time
- Whether the phone is receiving a 3G/4G/5G signal from your mobile provider's network
- The type of phone, operating system and/or browser being used.

How do I update my Operating System - Android phones ?
Open ‘Settings’ and scroll down and tap ‘Software Update’. This shows that your operating system is up to date. If not, tap Download and Install. To ensure your Operating System is always up to date, turn Auto Download on. Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi.

How do I update my Operating System - Apple phones?
Open ‘Settings’ and tap ‘General’. Tap ‘Software Update’. It will show and confirm that your iOS (or Operating System) is up to date. If not, tap ‘Download and Install’. To ensure your iOS is always up to date, switch Automatic Updates on.

What is a Jailbroken or Rooted Device?
A jailbroken or rooted device is where a device is modified to eliminate security layers designed to protect your personal information and your mobile device. With this security removed from your mobile device, hackers may steal your personal information, damage your device, attack your network, or introduce malware, spyware, or viruses.
Jailbroken or rooted devices are not compatible with the AIB Business (iBB) app. When the app is installed it performs a series of checks to determine if the device is safe for running the iBB Mobile app - if the security checks have not been successful for example a jailbroken or rooted device is identified,, our app will not run. This security feature is for the protection of our customers and their accounts.

Can I access statements for all types of accounts?
You can’t access statements on the AIB Business (iBB) app; you need to log into iBB on your computer to view your statements.

Do I need a PAC the first time I log into the app?
No - to register for the app, you need your User ID, password and either your Digipass or a Local Administrator from your company.

How do I amend access for users?
You can amend your users’ access by logging into iBB on your computer - go to the Admin menu to manage each user's access and limits.

Does the Local Administrator access the same on the AIB Business (iBB) app?
User access is the same on your computer as the app, however there are no specific Local Administrator features on the app.

Do the payments I make on the app show on iBB on my computer?
Payments made on the app are shown on your computer, and payments made on your computer are shown on the app. You can view, cancel and authorise them all through both channels.

Is there a maximum limit set for the AIB Business (iBB) app similar to AIB Mobile app?
Your user limit and your company cash management limits are the same on your computer and on the app. There are no additional limits on the app.

Can I access payment files through the AIB Business (iBB) app?
Payment files cannot be accessed on the iBB app, however, you can continue to access payment files through iBB on your computer.

Can I set up Standing Orders/Direct Debits on the app?
You can only set up standing orders through iBB on your computer.

Will my Payees show on my AIB Business (iBB) app?
Any payee you have already saved on iBB on your computer will show and can be used on the app.

Is my authorisation set up the same on the AIB Business (iBB) app? (two to authorise)
Authorisations are the same on the app as they are on your computer. If your company requires two users to authorise a payment, they can do it either on a computer or on the app.

Can my apple watch be synced to my AIB Business (iBB) app for notifications?
AIB Business (iBB) app notifications are the same as any other notifications you receive, once you have your watch synced with your mobile the notifications should display there.

Is there a separate application process for the AIB Business (iBB) app?
There’s no application for the AIB Business (iBB) app. Simply download the app and register using your User ID, Password and Digipass.

Can I add my cards or my new accounts onto my AIB Business (iBB) app?
You cannot add your credit card onto iBB using the app. If you need to add cards and accounts, you can add them on iBB on your computer. If your cards or accounts are showing on iBB on your computer, they’ll also be shown on your app.

Can I download transactions into CSV and PDF format?
You can download individual transactions in both formats on the AIB Business (iBB) app.

Can I cancel iBB through the AIB Business (iBB) App?
If you want to cancel your company’s access to iBB, you need to complete the following form online (or print it out) and post it to us at:

How do I add all my accounts on iBB?
You can add all of your accounts through iBB on your computer and they'll show on your app.

Can I change details like my address on the AIB Business (iBB) app?

Can I apply for a business loan through the AIB Business (iBB) app?
Loan applications aren’t available on the AIB Business (iBB) app; please call us to discuss applying for a loan.

Can I order Digipasses through the AIB Business (iBB) app for myself and other users?
You can order a new Digipass (for yourself) through the AIB Business (iBB) app. To order for another User, if you are a Local Administrator please log into iBB on your computer and order the Digipass under Admin > Users and Accounts section. If a new Digipass is ordered, the current Digipass is disabled and can no longer be used.
